Just got back from an awesome weekend at Ky Lake and Barkley. What a great weekend we had catching tons of fish and ended up winning both tournaments we fished in. To say the ledge bite is on would be an understatement. The fish are stacked up on main and secondary river ledges right now and once you can get the school to fire it's game on. It took alot of graphing around to find the larger schools of fish but when you graphed them you could put a waypoint on them and within three or four casts be hooked up. It is all about knowing how to read your graph and knowing exactly what you are looking at. There were only a handful of times that we would graph fish and get up to fish and not get bit. Learning how to read and decipher the information your graph is giving you is the key to ledge fishing. It is the difference maker in an awesome day of summer time fishing and a day with no fish.    Best baits were jigs, big worms, dd crankbaits, shakeyhead worms and c-rig creature baits. Most of our fish came out of 20-35 ft of water depending on the particular ledge. The pics are of Brad holding a couple of fish that we caught throughout the weekend.
